Closed!

By the way. ACSDI office is closed July 3rd, 2009 in observance of Independence Day, which is actually tomorrow, but that’s Saturday and you know what that means. We will be back to cheerfully answering the phones at 8:30 am Monday, July 6th. Have a swell day!

New Digs

Just more compelling evidence of the sustained growth of our company: we moved into our new palatial digs in November. Now with twice the space of the previous office we won’t be tripping over each other’s cords and wires, especially since Jay wired the new office to keep it tidy. Being equipped with an official Conference Room, we now have to gather together for our weekly meetings and such, whereas before we could almost do it from the comfort of our own desks, since everybody could hear everybody else anyway. But our address didn’t change! We just moved to a different spot in the same building so the address doesn’t change. And they let us keep our suite number. Sweet.

He’s Certifiable!

We want to give a big shout out to let the world know that Rick obtained his Crestron Programming Certification this week. Give him a call… spread the love! Just another example of our commitment to providing the best programming effort possible and giving credence to the phrase “We can do that; we know how.”

New Combo Quirk?

Scenario: Replace a Sony DVD/VCR with a JVC DVD/VCR that has that new fangled HD upconversion so the client can be ready well before next February. What’s the problem with that? The new JVC DV-RM100 unit does something not seen before. When you stop a DVD the output switches to the TV Tuner input. Not a big deal? Think again. Think about the user that wants to do a presentation so puts a DVD in the unit but doesn’t want to start it just yet, and selects the DVD source button on your touch panel. Paradigm’s are shifty little buggers.

Jay’s on board

Finally getting around to updating the web site to include a little more information about the newest addition to our team - Jay Honsey. Of course now it’s been eight months but who’s keeping track, anyway! Right? Check out his bio page.

It’s Alive!

This is the beginning of the end of mundane tedious html editing to put stuff on the ACSDI website. Soon we will be able to use the efficiency of the WordPress blog posting application to maintain the pages of the site. As new things happen we can (and I mean WE) can do a posting to the site or change the pages that are linked on the side. It will be really cool.
